Bugaboo US Digital Gift Card – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”) govern the purchase and redemption of Bugaboo digital gift cards (“Gift Cards”) on the Bugaboo US website. By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms, in addition to the Bugaboo US General Terms & Conditions available at Terms and Conditions | Bugaboo (“General T&Cs”), the Bugaboo Privacy Policy at Privacy Policy | Bugaboo, and the Supplemental State Specific Privacy Notice at California Privacy Notice | Bugaboo.


WHAT IS A GIFT CARD?

A Bugaboo Gift Card is a digital payment instrument that holds a monetary value in United States Dollars (USD) that may be applied toward eligible purchases on the Bugaboo US online store only. Gift Cards are delivered electronically by email and are not physical products. Gift Cards are not sold for resale or commercial purposes.


GIFT CARD VALUE

  • Gift Cards are available for purchase here in any amount between USD 50 - 5,000 as displayed at checkout.
  • Bugaboo reserves the right to change the minimum and maximum Gift Card values at any time. Any such change will not affect Gift Cards already purchased.
  • You may check your available Gift Card balance using the balance check tool.


PURCHASE & DELIVERY

  • Gift Cards can be purchased only through the Bugaboo US website.
  • After purchase, you will receive an email confirmation; the Gift Card will be delivered by email either immediately (usually within a few minutes) or on a scheduled date you choose. 
  • You may choose to send it directly to the intended recipient; in this case, you will not receive a confirmation email yourself, but the gift card will be only sent to the intended recipient. You may also add a personal message for them.
  • You may forward or print the Gift Card email for use by the intended recipient.



REDEMPTION

  • Gift Cards may be redeemed only on the Bugaboo US website. A Gift Card purchased on a Bugaboo website in another region cannot be redeemed in the US.
  • At checkout, choose the Gift Card payment option and enter your Gift Card details, received via email. Your available balance will be applied to your order automatically. 
  • Gift Cards may be applied toward eligible products, including sale items, unless otherwise specified.
  • Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by applicable federal or state law.
  • Gift Cards become inactive upon the use of the full available balance.


MULTIPLE & PARTIAL USE

  • You may use multiple Gift Cards in a single transaction where the checkout allows.
  • If the value of the Gift Card is insufficient for a purchase, you must pay the remaining balance using another accepted payment method.
  • Any unused balance remains on the Gift Card for future use.


EXPIRY & FEES

  • Bugaboo US Gift Cards do not have an expiration date.
  • No fees will be charged to you for the purchase or redemption of a Gift Card.


RETURNS & REFUNDS

  • You may request a cancellation and refund of a Gift Card within 14 days of purchase, provided the Gift Card has not been used. To cancel a Gift Card, please contact Bugaboo Customer Service before any redemption takes place. Once a Gift Card has been redeemed, in whole or in part, it cannot be refunded.
  • If an order paid by using a Gift Card is returned, whether in full or in part, any refund will be credited first to the Gift Card (up to the amount originally paid with the Gift Card). Any remaining refund will then be credited to the other payment method(s) used.


LOST, STOLEN OR DELETED GIFT CARDS

  • Treat your Gift Card like cash. Bugaboo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or deleted Gift Cards.
  • If you cannot find your Gift Card email, check your email spam/junk folder first. 
  • Bugaboo may be able to reissue a Gift Card if you provide proof of purchase and additional requested information. For this purpose, please reach out to Bugaboo Customer Service.


FRAUD & ABUSE

Bugaboo reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reverse Gift Card transactions if Gift Cards are obtained or used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Gift Card Terms or the applicable law.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bugaboo’s total liability arising out of or in connection with the purchase, delivery, non-delivery, redemption, or use of a Gift Card is limited to the remaining balance on the Gift Card at the time the claim arises. Bugaboo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with Gift Cards. Nothing in these Gift Card Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. This section applies in addition to, and does not replace, the limitation of liability provisions set out in the Bugaboo US General T&Cs.


GOVERNING LAW

These Gift Card Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to Gift Cards is subject to the arbitration, class action waiver, and dispute resolution provisions set out in the Bugaboo US General T&Cs, which are incorporated into these Gift Card Terms by reference.
