1) Open the stability leg

The Turtle Air by Nuna car seat base is made with a stability leg designed to minimize the impact force transferred to your baby and ensure a secure ride. The first step in the short installation process is to pull open and extend the leg.

Second, place the car seat base on the seat with the stability leg perpendicular to the floor at the front of the seat.

You’re already on the final step to install the base! To connect the rigid latch anchors to the vehicle seat, push down and forward. The indicator will turn green when you’ve got it just right. You’ll see a bubble that looks like a level tool. Be sure the bubble is touching the black line. Note: If this is your first baby, you may not be familiar with the LATCH system in your car. LATCH stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children. This system allows for car seat installation without the use of the seat belt.
