The Bugaboo Dragonfly is compatible with many infant car seats, including the Bugaboo Otter by Nuna. This makes a travel system that lets you seamlessly transition between car and pushchair. For a safe and easy connection, you will need Bugaboo car seat adapters (sold separately). The carrycot is designed for newborns who can't sit upright without support or roll over and push themselves up on their hands and knees. It supports babies up to a maximum weight of 9 kg. Your child is typically ready to switch to the pushchair seat around 6 months of age – but keep in mind that this depends on their personal development. Some signs that your child is ready to move to the seat include: good head control, ability to sit up or in a semi-upright position, outgrowing the carrycot, and showing increased engagement with their surroundings. If you're in doubt, check with your pediatrician.
