If you have a baby on the way and want to grow your family later, begin your journey with the Bugaboo Donkey 6 or the Bugaboo Kangaroo with a pram body. For baby number two, convert either pram into a double by adding another sibling seat for them to travel together — side by side on the Bugaboo Donkey 6, or tandem on the Bugaboo Kangaroo. And if you'd like to stroll with a third child in tow, accessorise your pram with the Bugaboo wheeled board.

When choosing a double pram, think about factors such as your family's composition, your children's interaction, ease of use, and storage capacity.

If you want your children to travel alongside one another, pick the Bugaboo Donkey 6. Its patented design lets you convert from a single pram to a double in only three clicks, and is available in three unique configurations to accommodate growing families. In single mode, it's suitable for one newborn or one toddler, with an underseat basket of 15 kg and a side bag that carries an extra 10 kg. If you have more than one child, the double or twin set-up is ideal for parent and sibling connection as the side by side geometry lets them stroll at the same height. Side by side configurations also give you equal accessibility to both children, and they can have the same view of the world. In double mode, it’s configured for one newborn and one toddler, or two toddlers. In twin mode, it’s configured for two newborns or two toddlers. In single mode, it gets even slimmer, at just 60 cm.
