The Bugaboo Donkey 6 is packed with features that makes it the ideal pram for growing families.

Its patented design lets you convert from a single pram to a double in only three clicks. Easily switch between three unique set-ups for either one child, two siblings of different ages, or twins. In single mode, it's as narrow as a single pram. In double and twin modes, the side-by-side geometry promotes bonding between siblings, fits through standard doorways, and is easy to steer with one hand.

Large puncture-proof wheels and a tight turning radius make the pram easy to push, steer, manoeuvre one-handed on any terrain, even when fully loaded with kids and groceries. The pram’s underseat basket holds up to 15 kg, while the newly redesigned side bag doubles as a changing bag, keeping must-haves within easy reach. In double mode, this side bag attaches securely to the handlebar and holds up to 4 kg.

To reduce its impact on our planet, the pram is more sustainably crafted with durable recycled fabrics, bio-based material, and recycled aluminium. It’s also adopted a water-free dyeing technology with a higher colour quality and lower resource consumption.

Compared to previous Donkey models, the Bugaboo Donkey 6 has been improved in all aspects to elevate your strolling experience, while preserving its signature quality and unique patented design.

The spacious all-season pram body features a longer apron for better protection and new soft organic cotton linings for your baby’s sensitive skin. New breezy panels are twice as large compared to earlier models, helping to regulate airflow while letting your baby take in new sights and sounds. The underseat basket is now 50% larger than before, holding up to 15 kg or 70 L. The redesigned side bag doubles as a changing bag, keeping must-haves within easy reach. In single mode, it carries up to 10 kg on the chassis. In double mode, it attaches securely to the handlebar and holds up to 4 kg. An additional pocket on the back of the seat also helps you store essential items close by.

The Bugaboo Donkey 6 is available in three unique configurations to accommodate growing families. In single mode, it's suitable for one newborn or one toddler, with a side bag that carries an extra 10 kg (22 lbs). If you have more than one child, the double or twin configuration is ideal for sibling connection as the side-by-side geometry lets them ride at the same height. The double set-up is configured for one newborn and one toddler, or two toddlers. The twin set-up is configured for two newborns, or two toddlers to ride together.

You can fold the Bugaboo Donkey 6 as a one-piece self-standing fold or as a two-piece compact fold.

To fold it as a self-standing fold with seat or pram body included:
1. Adjust the handlebar to the lowest setting.
2. Adjust the seat and/or bassinet to line up with the direction of the handlebar.
3. Push the security lock with your thumb while pulling the triggers upward to release the handlebar to the floor.
4. Lift up the centre tube and bring the wheels together to create a self-standing fold. And you’re done.

To fold it as a compact fold:
1. Remove each seat or bassinet unit by pressing the memory buttons and lifting up.
2. Unclip the three latches on the front, back, and handlebar.
3. Adjust the handlebar to the lowest setting.
4. Press the button in the middle of the chassis and pull the frame together into single mode.
5. Hold down the buttons on the handlebar and push down on the frame, then use the middle bar to pick the pram up. And you’re all set.

Yes, absolutely. The Bugaboo Donkey 6 in double or twin mode is only 14 cm wider than a single pram, designed to comfortably fit through standard doorways and lifts. In single mode, it’s even slimmer at 60 cm, as narrow as a single pram.
