For example, the newborn set can be attached to either the Bugaboo Giraffe chair base or the Bugaboo Giraffe rocker frame, supporting your baby from birth up to 6 months of age or until they reach 9 kg (20 lbs) — whichever comes first.

Once your baby is around 6 months old, has developed sufficient back strength, and can sit upright without support, you can transition to the baby set with the chair. The baby set supports your child until they weigh 15 kg (33 lbs), or about 36 months of age.

From around 36 months onwards, your child can use the Bugaboo Giraffe without additional accessories. The chair can handle up to 100 kg (220 lbs). Ultimately, it’s up to you and your child to decide when you want to move to a regular chair.
