Using the Bugaboo Runner is easy thanks to its versatility. Check the user guide to get important information about how to use the pram in all configurations. The Bugaboo Runner is an extension to your versatile daily use Bugaboo pram, this base is designed purely for jogging. The best jogging performance is given by large wheels (for shock absorption) and a fixed wheel to have a straight track so you don’t have to correct your course constantly. The base is designed so that you can easily tip the pram during your run to steer and adjust your direction.

The Bugaboo Accessories are designed specifically to customise your Bugaboo Runner and enhance your journey. You can check out the Accessories page to add a dash of colour and extra comfort to your pram. Select the Bugaboo Runner from the drop down menu on the right side of the page and customise your mood or journey and expand your world. Please note that we do not recommend using the Bugaboo Parasol and the Bugaboo Wheeled Board with the Bugaboo Runner, because these accessories may interfere with your run.

You can find the serial number of your Bugaboo pram by checking the middle bar of the chassis, underneath the seat. Remove the seatframe and check out the structure of the pram. Please know your Bugaboo Runner has a unique serial number on the chassis and a different serial number on the seatframes. The base numbers are collected in the Tag number starting with "X", that you will find in the structure itself and in the documentation that comes along with the Bugaboo Runner. These 3 numbers are linked and all 3 can identify your Runner. Whenever you need to contact us for queries concerning your pram, we advise you to locate the serial number or the Tag number: this will be helpful to identify your pram and assist you the best we can.

All Bugaboo products are designed in the Netherlands and manufactured in our own factory in China, where we have full control over the quality and durability of our products.

Clean the chassis with a soft towel and lukewarm water and wipe off any remaining water with a dry cloth. Use a soft brush to clean sand from the mechanisms and sliding tubes of the frame. To clean the foam on the handlebar, please use a sponge, warm water and liquid soap and gently rub the area that needs to be cleaned. Wipe clean any soap residue left on the metal part of the handlebar.

We would like to warn you that fake Bugaboo products have been reported. We want to make you aware of this and strongly recommend that you only purchase Bugaboo products at official retailers or at Bugaboo.com.  A list of authorised retailers can be found on the retail-locator. Should you need service and/or you have a warranty request please always contact your retailer first to help you with your service claim. If you have bought on the website www.bugaboo.com, please contact our customer service. We strongly advise you to ask for an official receipt from the authorised dealer you have bought your pram from and that you keep and store your original receipt. We need the receipt in case of any service/warranty request. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with our customer service centre should you have any questions or concerns.

Damage from transportation (for example airline transportation) is not covered by the manufacturing warranty, however we can help you with the assessment of the damage and with useful documentation in case you need to make a claim to the airline's insurance to cover the cost of a new Bugaboo Runner or for a part to be replaced.

The Bugaboo Runner is specially designed to deliver the smoothest run possible. The pram has three large wheels with air-filled tyres and a fixed front wheel that ensures a smooth, straight run with utmost stability. The Bugaboo Runner has all other features you would expect from a Bugaboo pram to facilitate the jogging experience, including: Reversible seat – facing world to explore and facing parent to see your child while jogging. Adjustable handlebar – three positions to suit all heights. Easy access handlebar brake – to control speed or stop without effort. Large underseat basket with straps - all of your essentials will stay in place during a run.

We designed a special adapter set for each compatible Bugaboo seat, making it easy to attach the seat to the Bugaboo Runner Chassis.

Bugaboo pram seats (please check compatibility of pram) are safe to use and meet the strict safety regulations. Please note, the harness should always be used to secure your child in the seat. This will ensure a safe and comfortable run with the Bugaboo Runner.

The Bugaboo Runner chassis can only be used with seats of the Bugaboo Cameleon³, Bugaboo Bee (2010 model onwards), Bugaboo Buffalo and Bugaboo Donkey. The seats of previous models (Bugaboo Frog, Bugaboo Gecko and previous Bugaboo Cameleon models) are not suitable with the Bugaboo Runner chassis. The Bugaboo Runner can be used with the Bugaboo Cameleon³, Bugaboo Bee (2010 model onwards), Bugaboo Buffalo and Bugaboo Donkey seats as they meet the strict safety regulations. Please note, the harness should always be used to secure your child in the seat. This will ensure a safe and comfortable run with the Bugaboo Runner.

The Bugaboo Runner is suitable for jogging with children from 9 months old up to 17 kg / 37.5 lbs. For this reason, you should not use the car seat or bassinet with the Bugaboo Runner. We recommend using another Bugaboo pram for the first 9 months.

Due to safety regulations, we do not recommend using the Bugaboo Runner with children younger than 9 months old.

The Bugaboo Runner does not have reflectors as our research demonstrated that most parents would not consider going for a jog with their child in the dark. Those who do tend to already own reflective clothing or other means to remain visible in the dark.

Keep your tyres at a pressure of 3.5 bar / 50 psi to experience the lowest possible rolling resistance and therefore ensure the best jogging performance. Please see the Bugaboo Runner User Guide for information about how to inflate the tyres.

The front wheel tracking system is designed to ensure a straight and smooth ride. If you notice any deviation, please use the adjustment nut on the front wheel to optimise your run.

We do not recommend placing a bag on the handlebar as the Bugaboo Runner may become unstable.

The fabrics of the Bugaboo Runner can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius. Please check the fabric label before washing.
