The technology, as the foundation of the stroller, is integrated in the rear frame. We have added some design and technology details to the Ant and placed it under the side panels. These details are at the foundation of this travel stroller, to support the suspension and the folding mechanism. Besides being a central part of how this stroller works, we made the side panels customisable, so that you can choose which colour matches your stroller best.
No, the top handlebar should always be fully extended, if the top handlebar is not in the correct position 2 red indicators will be visible.
The seat has 5 recline options which are 3 facing parent and 2 facing world, you cannot fully recline the seat, in facing world position.
As this stroller was designed for travel, we needed to be sure that this stroller was light and compact. To ensure that we were not adding more weight, we decided not to add a footrest facing the parent.
Make sure you rotate the handlebar (rubber/plastic part) upwards, aligning it with the metal parts. Then push the entire handlebar and telescopic part down. When the telescope in entirely integrated, you can fold the upper part and create a compact ‘box’. No pressure is needed to integrate and fold the telescope and handlebar.
If the seat of the Bugaboo Ant was fully reclined in the ‘facing the world’ position, the weight of the seat and child would not be in balance. To ensure the ideal stability and safety, this seat position was not added to this stroller.
Yes, this is intentional. The Bugaboo Ant has a firm backbone structure, therefore we need to make sure that we are providing the best support possible in this travel stroller. That's why the fabric might look a bit loose.
