#BeBrave 투어, 두 번째 이야기

In September, the #BeBrave Tour kicked off in London to celebrate the launch of the new Bugaboo by Diesel Denim collection. At the pop-up events around the world, we were surprised about the amount of creativity expressed by even the youngest of artists. With paintbrushes and rollers, blue and white paint (and the occasional hand and foot!) children created either personalized artworks or contributed to wall-sized masterpieces. Stockholm-based blogger Chrystelle Eriksberger said it best, “I’m not sure who had more fun: the children who indulged in the creative chaos or the parents who watched over the happy mess-makers!”

Let’s take a look at the last few events. It’s about to get real messy!

On 14 October, during the AOSANDO Art Fair in Tokyo, the Bugaboo Japan team invited children to get their hands messy and create a wall-sized artwork together with Japanese artist Tadayoshi Shibuya.

The next day, 15 October, Milan’s contemporary art center Dream Factory was the host of Bugaboo Italy’s event with Vogue Bambini. Dressed in Diesel aprons, the young artists created their own denim canvas paintings and snacked on an array of blue and white-themed treats like jean-pocket shaped cookies, popcorn buckets and individual-sized milk bottles with cookies.

On the same day, Prague got messy with an event at DSC Gallery. To get the kids into the mood, they started with a personal finger-paint artwork that they could take home with them at the end of the day. Then the kids were invited into the ‘room’ where they were instructed to get as much blue paint on the walls as possible. Parents watched on, some jealous they couldn’t join in on the fun themselves!

On October 28th, the tour stopped in Stockholm, where a completely white room was set up at the So Stockholm Art Gallery. With the help of art instructor Carolina Gynning and equipped with paint brushes, rollers and blue and white paint, the kids didn’t hesitate to turn the white room into a bright blue artwork.

Then onto Berlin where families and children took over the Bugaboo brand store in Mitte on 11 November. Dressed in blue shirts and white converse sneakers, the kids made a serious blue mess! Next stop was Sydney, where on 19 November families were invited to explore their creative side on a set similar to the Bugaboo by Diesel campaign image. Then, in the special kids-only zone, movies and face painting kept the young ones entertained while parents were introduced to the new Bugaboo by Diesel Denim collection.

Last stop on the tour: Madrid with dare we say the messiest event to date! The Bugaboo Spain team made their own tribute to Universal Children’s Day at the Q17 Studios by creating a special art gallery of photographs sent in by parents on social media depicting ‘messy moments’ with their children. Parents and children were invited to get messy with the paints on set in a recreation of the Bugaboo by Diesel campaign image.
