2015-04-07 - To show those almost unbearable moments faced by every parent, popular photographer The Selby gives us a look inside the house of fashionable parents Sean McPherson and Rachel Hrushka McPherson, as part of the Bugaboo by Diesel collaboration.

The Bugaboo Cameleon³ by Diesel, the first of three collaborative collections between Bugaboo and Diesel is proving a huge hit with the fashion in-crowd. Through this collection, Bugaboo and Diesel give an insight into the lives of fashionable parents. Even for those parents, facing almost unbearable situations with a smile, is part of life. We want to tell small and ironic stories, and bring them to life in a fashionable way. Who better to tell these stories than The Selby! As one of the first bloggers to make a mark on the internet, today Todd Selby is an established name as he goes door-to-door taking a sneak peek into the private homes and lives of creative crowds.

Now take a look at and meet the family; Sean MacPherson (owner of the Bowery, Jane and The Ludlow hotels, among others) and Rachelle Hrsuka MacPherson (founder and proprietor of two busy, yet fashionable parents who also face those unbearable moments in their daily life. Take a look through the lens of the Selby at their stunning mid-century butchery-conversion in New York’s lively Meatpacking District, where they live with their two young sons. Their house contains a melting pot of antique furniture, vintage finds, custom fittings and gorgeous gowns. Take the original kitchen, for instance, where a simple pancake-making session can turn into chaos… Growing up in such an inspiring environment is an amazing adventure for their two boys.

Todd Selby

Todd Selby is a photographer, director, author and illustrator. His project, The Selby, offers an insider’s view of creative individuals in their personal spaces with an artist’s eye for detail. The Selby began in June 2008 as a website where Todd posted photo shoots he did of his friends in their homes. Requests quickly began coming in daily from viewers all over the world who wanted their homes to be featured on the site.  The Selby’s website became so influential — with up to 100,000 unique visitors daily—that within months, top companies from around the world began asking to collaborate.
