process manager

Location: amsterdam, the Nederlands

The NCD/NPD Process Manager will be overall responsible for documenting the process as well as measuring the performance of the Bugaboo Product Development ( NCD and NPD ) and Product Sustaining processes. He/she will also be responsible for managing process improvements and coordinating/facilitate training and skill level improvements of an international product development team. Overall aim is to increase business performance by shortening time to market while maintain a high level of product quality.

• Improve and support implementation of NCD/NPD and sustaining processes.
• Document the processes and deliverables in a standardized way.
• Create and implement a process document maintenance procedure to ensure process documentation is always kept up to date.
• Train the organization on NCD/NPD and sustaining processes and process changes. 
• Monthly reporting of process status to align stakeholders on the progress.
• Assist the Innovation Manager and the Project Management team in capturing and reporting on the NCD/NPD such as road maps, KPI’s and resource management.
• Analyze, propose and define opportunities to improve the NCD/NPD/sustaining performance by means of continuous improvement programs in close cooperation with project management and innovation manager.
• Work closely with process management and project management in Amsterdam and Asia to align all processes from both sides.

• BSc/MSc degree or equivalent degree in an industrial design or mechanical engineering curriculum.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position in an international product development/industrial environment.
• Experience with NCD / NPD stage-gate process.
• Good facilitating and communication skills in a multicultural environment.(EU/ASIA).
• Ability to work in and/or lead a cross-disciplinary team, often with conflicting views.
• Aware of and behaving to multi-language and multi-cultural environments.
• Knowledge about LEAN development process and ISO certification process is beneficial.
• Awareness of the processes and interaction within marketing, industrial design and engineering, production, supply chain and quality/compliance.
• Knowledge of VISIO and preferably NIMBUS.
• Fluency in written and verbal English and Dutch. Mandarin is a major plus.
