Bugaboo and the iconic British artist and deisgner Zakee Shariff, have created a one of a kind stroller that will be auctioned off on eBay to help deliver an AIDS free generation in 2015.
In 2009, Bugaboo joined forces with (RED)™ to empower parents across the globe to participate in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Since then, Bugaboo's 1% of total revenue contributions have generated enough funding to provide treatment to over 70,000 HIV+ pregnant women in Africa.
To celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the Bugaboo and (RED)™ partnership this October, Bugaboo collaborated with (BUGABOO)RED ambassador Zakee Shariff to design an exclusive stroller to be auctioned off on eBay. The stroller, plus two canvas prints of Zakee Sharrifs exclusive design, will be offered in a single auction, with 100% of the proceeds going to The Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS programs in Africa.
A perfect fit for (BUGABOO)RED, new mum Zakee Shariff has always encouraged people to think about the world they live in through her work. Based in London, her work has branched from her own clothing collection out to explore a wide diversity of different creative avenues. This one-off (BUGABOO)RED stroller will marry Zakee's signature style with the iconic Bugaboo Cameleon stroller.
If you would like to show your support for (RED)™ , please visit eBay and participate in this exclusive auction from 25-31 October, 2011.
