Is Haarlem a good place to bring up children? Yes, it has a perfect combination of forests, beaches, plenty of playgrounds and we are in the heart of the city.
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? I love to customize my Bugaboo Cameleon. Try out different accessories, play with the color combinations, adapt it to suit my mood.
What is the craziest thing you have done with the Bugaboo Cameleon? We went ice-skating with it. It was great; I pushed it forward while skating behind it. How has having children affected your life? My son makes me very happy.
What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? The short turning circle. We have a small house, and it's so easy to maneuver the Bugaboo Cameleon around it. We can park it perfectly in the corner.
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? When I go to the park, I take the carrycot off the frame and put it next to me on the blanket. That way, Seph and I are at the same height and we can chill together.
What would be your biggest challenge to take your children and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? We're going to Andalucía this summer and it will be great to explore with our Bugaboo Cameleon. Exploring the old cities, little villages, grocery shopping, and going to be beach. Mom and dad want to do what they want, so I think we'll need it a lot! How has having children affected your life? Very much. A child depends on its parents, so you can't just do whatever you want anymore. But you get a lot of love in return, as well as beautiful moments every day with your family.
Is Barcelona a good place to bring up children? The Spanish are very fond of children and very focused on them. You notice how kind they are towards them when you have a child yourself.
What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? It's easy to use: it is ready to go in a split second; you throw it in the car just like that ... It rides smoothly - you can turn corners effortlessly. I also like that it grows with you – you can use it both for babies and for toddlers. First the carrycot and then later, when your child is older, change it into the seat.
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? Mae was born in a hospital. I had taken the Bugaboo Cameleon with me and walked back home with our baby from the hospital. That was a very special moment, so amazing. The first time out and alone with my daughter. The thought, the awareness that you have a child. Immense. Also, a bus dashed by and I remember thinking ‘welcome to this world'. What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? Having my Bugaboo Cameleon in the 2-wheel position. My friends wonder why I had a two-wheel stroller. They are always shocked to see it in that position.
Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? Yes, it felt so good; we were really looking forward to that day. I used to live in a second-floor apartment with no lift and I didn't want to wait for my husband to come and help me. I wanted to go out alone with no help and be able to go up and down the stairs comfortably, with the kids and my things. The Bugaboo Cameleon allowed me to do that without any problem.
What would be your biggest challenge to take your children and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? Anything is possible, my child can do anything on the stroller: sleep, eat… this makes me feel reassured wherever I am. Besides, coming from Bugaboo, I always expect something fun, functional and well-designed.
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? Freedom -- I can do anything with my Bugaboo Cameleon! It meets all my needs when I'm travelling with my child. It's very comfortable, stylish and suits my lifestyle. It makes my life easier. Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? Very strange. Pushing your new baby around in a stroller for the first time is a very unusual feeling. A mixture of pride and nervousness.
What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? The all-terrain aspect, plus the fact that it looks good. The steering surprised us also. That is a very obvious advantage the Bugaboo Cameleon has.
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? Every day is a mini story. Elia loves riding on the wheeled board – she thinks it's a personal scooter.
How did having children affect your life? Focus, enriching, old-school happiness. Keeping a calm head helps you with motherhood and confidence in the street is only going to encourage that. If you have only had a few hours of sleep the night before and forgot to brush your hair – at least you know your Stroller looks good!
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? Our Bugaboo Cameleon is an extension of our bodies now, and will be for some time to come. Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? Nothing special, but always a secure feeling. I remember people looking at it, more before than now. I guess it's not such a big surprise having a Bugaboo Cameleon nowadays. But a lot of people asked me if it's good, they wanted to know my opinion.
What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? Very comfortable, not heavy and very strong. I love its maneuverability too. It's very easy to drive and that's something I missed in my previous strollers. I also love its design. I feel I'm using the best stroller in the market.
What is the craziest thing you have done with your Bugaboo Cameleon? Use it as a shopping cart!
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? I don't know what I would do without the wheeled board. I've been able to take it everywhere: through the snow, on trips… In fact, I love the accessories. I have all of them: tailored fabric sets, cup holder, breezy sun canopy, footmuff… I just found out there's an iPhone holder and I've got an iPhone! Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? I went for a walk with Laura for the first time and she slept the whole time. It felt so comfortable. This was the huge difference between my first stroller and my Bugaboo Cameleon. I also remember people looking at the stroller! Oh, and people asking if it's worth it, how it works, if the big wheels are useful…
What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? Its maneuverability, it's very easy to steer. I can go anywhere alone: shops, beach, market, on the bus… And even with two small kids and being pregnant!
What would be your biggest challenge to take your children and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? Climbing a mountain. In fact, we're going to Montserrat soon.
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? Lucas, my older son, playing with Laura while she was sitting in the Bugaboo Cameleon.
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? It has been a great support in helping me manage my life with 2 children and a third baby on the way. It is very practical and I can have my hands free. My Bugaboo Cameleon means handy and useful, freedom of movement, ease and simplicity. And I hope Bugaboo will continue surprising me. What is your most loved Bugaboo Cameleon feature? I was surprised by the fact that it's really easy to fold and unfold. I also love its convertibility and adaptability: you can use the carrycot, the seat, the car seat… And the accessories are amazing. I've already got a black tailored fabric set and a pink footmuff.
Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? Yes, it was perfect. Bruna slept all the time.
What is the furthest place you ever travelled to with your children? Guadalupe, in the French Caribbean.
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? The Bugaboo Cameleon is so comfortable and pretty, it goes with my style. Besides, you can also move around perfectly: in the city, at the beach… And you can even travel anywhere with it. Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? I felt like an adult. I thought a stroller would be much more impractical. My Bugaboo Cameleon literally takes me anywhere I want to go.
Do you have a nickname for your Bugaboo Cameleon? ‘Het mandje' (the basket)
What is the craziest thing you did with it? When Ole was one week old, we took him to a wedding. His bright stroller really stood out, even against the backdrop of such a colourful setting.
What is your favourite Bugaboo Cameleon story? When Ole still slept in the carrycot, he used to curl up at the top and sleep there, with his head slightly crooked against the side. He made it into a little nest, and it looked really cute.
What would be the most challenging Bugaboo Cameleon destination? The Lowlands Music Festival. That would be a real challenge! How did having children affect your life? The circle is round, Jade completes us.

What is the craziest thing you did with your Bugaboo Cameleon? We went out in the snow when she was only six weeks old, people thought, ‘is this really possible?'
What is your most favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? My husband tried to assemble the Bugaboo Cameleon just as quick as the demo on the DVD, he managed! We have got it on tape!
What is the furthest place you ever travelled to with your children? We went to the Veluwe on a holiday and made long walks every day. The Veluwe is a heath with a sandy soil. We put the big wheels in the front by changing the handlebar, and off we were! Piece of cake, really. Lisemarie What is the craziest thing you did with your Bugaboo Cameleon? When Valerie was seven days old we went out on the boat. I think other people would just walk a little round around the house.
What's your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? I often put the child of one of my friends with Valerie in the Bugaboo Cameleon, so they can play together. Or stare at each other, depending on their mood
What would be your biggest challenge to take your child and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? Go on a world trip and explore the United States with a camper.

What is the craziest thing you did with your Bugaboo Cameleon? I sometimes put my dog in it. He's a lazy Jack Russell, it's handy like that.
What's the furthest place you ever travelled to with your child? We went hiking in France and Switzerland.
What would be your biggest challenge to take your kids and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? I don't see it as a challenge. I can take my son anywhere I want! How has having children affected your life? We do a lot together as a family! He has brought us a wealth of happiness.
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? It's our multi-tasker. We will soon have our second child, Fellipe will be able to ride the wheeled board, it's going to be great!
What is the furthest place you've ever travelled to with your children? To the South of France. Pepijn's parents have a little house near Avignon. It was perfect for exploring the city, getting groceries… everything really.
What would be your biggest challenge to take your children and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? Traveling around the world. How did having children affect your life? We discovered the pleasure of walking and we became very well organized. I also have a lot more contact with my neighbours. And a lot of people talk to me about my Bugaboo Cameleon; it really helps create a bond.
Is Amsterdam good place to bring up children? Certainly, we like the fact that it's a very multicultural city and a creative environment. I want Jools to grow up in a place with lots to do. We live in the Oud-West (Old West) area, opposite a row of lovely houseboats.
What is your favourite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? The frame.
What is the craziest thing you did with the Bugaboo Cameleon? It fits into our old Mini Cooper, which really amazed us. Also I sometimes catch the neighbour's cats sleeping in it when I leave it outside in our garden.... And we use it as a shopping bag.
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? It's very handy, and i have become so attached to it. It's like my phone: I can't imagine not having it around. Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? Yes, I hoped everybody would notice. I wanted people to look at me, but nobody did.
What is your favorite Bugaboo Cameleon feature? It's so easy to move, and it's super practical.
What is the craziest thing you have done with it? I don't know if it's crazy, but in the beginning, when I wanted to pull the stroller instead of pushing it, I didn't know I had to change the handlebar. What a delight when I found out!
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? When we bought it we were practicing walking with it without the baby. Hilarious!
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? It's very handy, super flexible and you can totally make it your own. If our next kid is a boy, we can adapt our Bugaboo Cameleon perfectly to his needs. And last but not least, it's a classic. How has having kids affected your life? It is so much fun!
Do you remember the first time you took your baby out in the Bugaboo Cameleon? How did it feel? It was eight days after Kye was born and it was such a great experience. It was a warm, sunny day and we went to the park for some bitterballen (Dutch meat snack). We fiddled around with the parasol to get some shade.
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? All stories involving my Bugaboo Cameleon include my son, so there are too many great stories to tell!
What's the furthest place you ever travelled to with your children? We went to Tunis last summer with our son and our Bugaboo Cameleon. They were inseparable...
What would be your biggest challenge to take your kids and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? To Istanbul! A city break with Kye is on my wish list and Istanbul is such a beautiful city. It's a big challenge, because the pavement is a disaster with a stroller. But think the Bugaboo Cameleon will pass the test! Do you and your kids have a nickname for your Bugaboo Cameleon? ‘‘t zwarte karretje' (‘the black cart').
Do you have a favorite Bugaboo Cameleon story? We got it as a Christmas present from my parents. I really cherish the memory of watching the demo with them, trying to construct the Bugaboo Cameleon.
What is the craziest thing you've done with the Bugaboo Cameleon? Taking it on a boat ride through the Amsterdam Canals. It fits perfectly in the front part of the boat.
What would be your biggest challenge to take your children and your Bugaboo Cameleon to? The desert. Or the North Pole. Because all the other places are a piece of cake for the Bugaboo Cameleon.
What does the Bugaboo Cameleon mean to you? A lot. We do everything with it. We're continuously filling it up, either with our kid or with groceries. You can use it for anything, especially in the city. |
